Google in-house coaches are using TIFF personal development tool

Google TPLT

A first group of 11 coaches at Google have gained licenses as TIFF Providers to use TIFF within their internal leadership coaching program.

The Temple Index of Functional Fluency  (TIFF©) personal development tool offers practical self-awareness of how to increase functional fluency.  The Functional Fluency model maps out a range of fundamental social behaviours, and provides a framework for learning how to use energy more effectively by responding more and reacting less.

Each unique TIFF Profile is co-created during a feedback session with a licensed TIFF Provider.  The questionnaire results are fully explored and an action plan prepared, to acknowledge and further develop strengths and to change those behaviours that are counter-productive.

A Google Organisational Development Partner and Leadership Coach says:

“TIFF provides a unique way to help a person reflect on how effectively they are communicating and building relationships with others - as a leader with their organisation, as a manager with their direct reports or as an individual contributor with a wider network of stakeholders. Without being directive, the TIFF profile and Functional Fluency model enables an open and flexible discussion between coach and coaching client focusing on the current reality of the client and as such being very personalised and individual.  I can highly recommend this method for use within organisations as well as for independent executive coaches.”
